I'd like to attract your attention to two activist efforts I'm involved with to help progressive Christians find each other on the web:

1) this week, come to our conference in Washington, DC! Senator Danforth, Jim Wallis, and EJ Dionne will help us reclaim the debate on "morality" from the fringe religious right. Oct 13-16, National Cathedral, Washington, DC. http://everyvoice.net....

2) Crossleft.org is hoping to become a wholesale clearing house for progressive Christian activists on the web. We have a shared events calendar, a newsstream that aggregates 100s of progressive Christian blogs, and an open discussion forum. We want to help sites like this one to easily network and interlink with the 1000s of progressive Christian forums and sites that are being built around the web -- in order that the sort of thing you do -- whatever current event alerts, marching orders, conferences, and local meetings come out of internet organization -- can be heard instantaneously across denominations and across the States. We'd love to convince you guys here at Right Christians to come play with us over there from time to time, and link your own church/personal websites in to the general program!!
